• Select the Select menu, then By Criteria.

The Select by Criteria: Step 1 box will open.  Here we can select 1 or more banks.

• Double-click on the question bank: Linear Functions (it will move to the lower field).

• Click on Next.

The Select by Criteria: Step 2 box will open.  Here we set our criteria.

• 1. Click on the button to the right of Reference.

By default A is selected (as we want for our first question).

• Click on OK.

Notice now that only “2 question match criteria”.

• 2. Click on the once to get:  Select 1 questions.
• 3. Click on Select.

The moment we click on Select, one of the T/F questions is added to the test (with dynamic variables) and this same dialog box is opened again so that we can select new criteria.

Notice at the bottom of this box – Total questions on test: 1.

This time we want our Reference to be “B” and againto “Select 1 questions”.  See if you can think through the steps before reading on.

• 1. Click on the button to the right of Reference.
• Click on B and then click on OK.
• 2. Click on the once to get:  Select 1 questions.
• 3. Click on Select.

Again, the moment we click on Select, on of the MC questions is added to the test.

Notice now at the bottom of this box – Total questions on test: 2.  We are done.

• Click on Done.

The test questions are now visible.  Scroll down to see the answers page.
