Step 1: Get started.
Step 2: Select the New Question type.
We now have a Multiple Choice program box for creating our question.

Look at the elements of this program box that are different from the Numeric response program box of Chapter 1, Part B, Step 4.
First, (red circles) we notice that there are places for 4 choices and that these are organized in 2 columns. The number of choices can be from 2 to 5 and the number of columns can be from 1 to 4.
More importantly, we notice (blue box) that the Answer is blank and that Scramble is All. This means that we must click in one of the circles and make sure to put the correct answer in this choice so that EVTG knows which answer is correct. However, when making up a test, EVTG will scramble all of the choices, but remember which of our choices is the correct answer choice. This ability to scramble our choices is a definite benefit of this program.
