Notice that in the top right hand corner of the test there are the symbols ID: A

This indicates the version of the test. The same code appears on the Answer Section page.

Suppose that we need one or several versions (variations) of this test for our class. With EVTG we can print up to 26 variations each with different questions (according to our uniqueness conditions) and each variation will be identified both on the Test and on the Answer Section with its own letter ID: A-Z.

Step 1: Print your test.

• Click on the File menu, then on Print,

or click on the button on the toolbar,

or press [Ctrl]+[P] (recall that this means press and hold the Ctrl key and then press P).

The Print Test dialog box will open.

Your Test Variations dialog box should look like this when you click on OK:

 

Your printer will print 4 pages, namely:

1. Test with ID:A
2. Answer Section for Test with ID:A
3. Test with ID:B
4. Answer Section for Test with ID:B

The questions will all have different values for our variables p, a and b. Again, this is the beauty and power of ExamView.
